This course is designed for project team members and project office support staff who have basic knowledge of project management.

There are no formal pre-requisites for undertaking the course. However, course participants are expected to have levels of language, literacy and numeracy usually required of project team members.

Those who have little or no knowledge of project management and wish to start a career in project management. This course is designed for project team members, project office support staff and for project managers who wish to reinforce the project management skills they have acquired on the job and obtain formal recognition. The course allows for the experienced project manager to upgrade smoothly from the Certificate IV in Project Management to the Diploma of Project Management.
Outcomes:
A Certificate IV in Project Management Apply project management tools and techniques as a project team member working under a project supervisor/manager.

Course Description
Certificate IV in Project Management is a competency-based award at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level IV. Competencies at the Certificate IV level describe the functions of a project team member who usually works with other team members under the direction of a project manager. Eight units of competency from the National Competency Standards for Project Management are required for the qualification. These units of competency are in line with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) adopted by both the Project Management Institute (USA) and the Australian Institute of Project Management. Logikal Training International delivers the national recognised Certificate IV in Project Management qualification to individuals and teams, to help project managers obtain formal recognition for their skills.
There are no formal pre-requisites for undertaking the course. However, course participants are expected to have levels of language, literacy and numeracy usually required of project team members. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be applicable to assist experienced project management professionals achieve this qualification.
At the end of the course participants will be able to demonstrate achievement of the required eight competencies for the award of Certificate IV in Project Management.
